There are many things that humanity remembers as a dark stain on history. We are ashamed of the oppression caused to others, slavery. And judging by the development of civilization and the emergence of values, in a few decades we will be just as ashamed of the cruelty to animals, of the damage to the environment - just for the taste of food.
The goal was to make meat from plants that tasted as close to animal meat as possible and was more beneficial in terms of its properties.
Vegetarianism has existed since the days when this concept was not even defined. Now there are more and more reasons and examples of refusing animal meat, partly due to scientific arguments or scary videos of animal killing. That is, the availability of information also contributes to this.
But in order for people to stop consuming animal meat, we need to offer a worthy alternative.
