Mini pies with eat me at minced meat stewed in Guinness and sweet potato
- Minced meat Eat Me At 1 pack
- 2 small carrots
- Frozen peas 1 cup
- 1 medium onion
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Olive oil for frying
- Flour 1 tbsp
- Tomato paste 2 tbsp
- Worcester 1/2 tbsp
- Guinness beer 0.5 bottles (170 ml)
- Water or broth 1 cup
- Salt pepper
- Thyme
- Bay leaves
- Sweet potato 1 pc
- Dry garlic, salt, pepper
- Vegan butter
To prepare the filling, finely chop the onion and garlic, peel the carrot and also cut it into small cubes.
Heat oil in a pan. Fry the onion and garlic until golden.
Add the Eat me at minced meat and fry for 5 minutes, breaking the lumps with a spatula.
Add half of the beer to deglaze the pan and collect all the fried pieces with a spatula.
Add vegetables, tomato paste, flour, remaining beer and broth (or water), Worcestershire and spices. Mix well, add thyme and bay leaf.
Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, peel the sweet potato and cut it into thin slices.
Distribute the prepared stewed minced meat in portioned baking molds, put sweet potatoes on top, sprinkle with spices and grease with vegan butter.
Bake at a temperature of 180˚С for 25 minutes, the last 5 — under the grill.
